A high-octane remix on a Patou favourite
Violet denim-effect recycled organic cotton and red metallic leather handbag. Part of a special collaboration with DJ and designer Sita Abellán. Crafted using premium deadstock leather. Half-circle shape with geometric cut-outs inspired by the JP monogram. Allover JP quilting in red. Gold-tone hardware with Patou-engraved detail at the side. Leather outline with fringed edges. Removable leather strap adorned with Sita's signature snake that allows it to be worn on the shoulder or carried by hand. Might be replaced by a gold-tone brass chain strap (sold separately) adorned with Patou letter charms and Sita's snake symbol; the chain can be used as single or double length and worn on the shoulder, across the body or at the waist to turn Le Petit Patou into a belt bag. Magnetic closure with gold-tone JP detail. Internal compartment. Eco lining.

Le Petit Patou Bag was skilfully crafted in one of our partner ateliers. We worked hard so that you could keep using it for many years to come. To preserve the beauty and quality of your Petit Patou Bag, we recommend that you handle it with special care. To protect your bag’s leather parts, you can nourish it with specific products. Otherwise, leave it in the expert hands of a trusted specialist who will look after it with the same level of care we put into making it. Do not use water or liquids on the leather. When not in use, place it in a dark and dry place. Avoid leaving your Petit Patou Bag exposed to direct sunlight or strong heat. In order for your Petit Patou Bag to keep its original shape, avoid to overload it with heavy and unsuitable items.

A unique leather for a unique bag
La Patou and Le Petit Patou are the iconic leather goods of the Maison. In staying true to our ethos of sustainability in our development, we refuse to produce new leather to manufacture Le Patou and Le Petit Patou. We use high quality upcycled deadstock – leathers that were already produced but unused – which we in turn, carefully select, to give it a new life. We limit waste by using high quality raw materials that already exist, creating a bag that is not only ethically made, but will last you a lifetime. Since our leather stock is limited, each bag is a limited edition: every bag is numbered, just like a work of art!
A know-how of excellence
Taking inspiration and shape from our JP logo, Le Patou bag was designed in the heart of Paris, in our studio on Ile de la Cité. The designs then made our way to our manufacturer in the town of Ubrique, Spain, in a workshop famous for its expertise in leather goods production for over 30 years. The artisans carefully select each piece of leather, which is then cut by hand. Seven pieces of leather are then assembled. Metal parts are applied, buffed, and shined. Finally, the bag is put into its own organic cotton duster bag. A precious process, Le Patou bag is ready for you!
A Green Case
Our Patou product presents itself as a gourmet cake, but healthy! They are delivered in a drawstring pouch made of organic cotton. We have developed sustainable recycled cardboard packaging made of recycled wood fibres and shavings, with no glue, no plastic, no waste! The components of pleasure!
